Frequently Asked Questions
the questions we are asked most often
Preferably because the days build on the previous leaning. But we recognize that life happens and so once you have completed the mandatory day we can build in flexibility to attend the days out of order.
Yes. Although you do need to decide before the end of the programme.
Research distills with unprecedented precision which quality demonstrates the ingredients for excellence leadership and management. The Research confirms what we at LTI believe that self-awareness is the key to being a more effective manager. Whether we are aware of it or not as a manager, leader or co-worker we are being judged by the invisible force called self-awareness, we are no longer assessed by how smart we are, or by our training and expertise. Organisations take for granted that you have the intellectual ability and technical know-how to do your jobs and instead are increasingly focusing on personal qualities, such as initiative and empathy, adaptability and persuasiveness, all of which begin with self-awareness. Self-awareness is no passing fad, the data that argues for taking it seriously are based on studies of tens of thousands of working people, in callings of every kind.
We run our programmes regularly so if you have a problem attending a day we will work with you to reschedule. If you miss a session on an In-House programme we will arrange a one to one coaching session to catch you up.
Of course. We want you to feel sure that this is right for you and our team are there to do just that. They will talk through any concerns you have and help you to decide whether this is the right option for you or not. Drop us a line on 0333 101 4350 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We believe that expertise comes with time, practice and passion and is less to do with formal qualifications. However we recognize that we exist in a world that values qualifications as a measure of expertise. Therefore all our development team are qualified to Masters Level and each has a professional personal development qualification, and are either qualified coaches or NLP practitioners. We all invest heavily in our continuing professional development as you would expect and are constantly seeking out the latest thinking from cutting edge thought leaders.
All of our programmes have some form of accreditation, which range from the professional to the academic. Accreditation is a personal aspiration and is therefore optional in all cases. We recommend you talk to us about your needs with regard to accreditation so that we can guide you through the qualification mine field!
During our programs you will be extended the option of getting feedback. This will be linked to your outcome for the programme.
You will be fully supported before, after and throughout the whole programme by our development practitioners, we want you to see us as a partner on your development journey.
No!! Self-awareness is the responsibility of everyone in an organization. We are not interested in your role, status or position, just in your desire to be more and bring more of who you are.
Most of the learning can be implemented the next day without additional reading or studying. What is great about our learning is that you do not have to invest lots of time in between the modules. (Unless you want to) Self-awareness is an ongoing generative process that continues to expand possibilities even after the learning has finished. We often have feedback telling us that light bulb moments are still happening years after the programme has ended.
We passionately believe in challenge through choice. The choice is always yours as to how much you want to stretch out of your comfort zone.
This is not training! We have never trained anyone to do anything, except maybe our company dog to ‘sit’ and ‘fetch.’ This is different to other programmes because it starts and ends with you, the person the human being. Most training starts with what you do. The human doing. It concentrates on how you behave and develops strategies to behave differently. This starts with who you are. The human being. This programme concentrates on who you are, what you stand for, what you care about, it begins with self-awareness and then translates that awareness to how you will be. This approach means that what you are learning is coming from the inside and is YOURS. It is not an approach that is being smeared on in the hope that it will stick. What you discover on our programmes is the real you and therefore the resulting changes in behavior are sustainable and authentic!
We support you before, during and after the development programme to ensure you get the best from it. The biggest part of knowing that it will work is knowing what you want to get out of it. Those who come with clear outcomes get the most out of it. But we will help you get clear about what you want, we are good at it!
No. Our courses provide all the information you need and our trainers are experts in working with groups of different experience levels. You’re in safe hands with us.
We ensure all attendees of our courses arrive fully prepared and relaxed. You will receive details of how to prepare for the training prior to the course, but the main thing we ask for is to keep your mind open.
Yes we do. We want investing in yourself to be as accessible as possible and we will do our best to help you, whatever your circumstances.
No. Each day is stand alone and can be completed in isolation. Our best advice is to attend all 7 days if you can, as this will give you all the understanding and tools you need to become fully self-aware. Day 1- The Self Aware Leader is mandatory, regardless of which days you choose as this is the foundation for all the other days.
