Before I saw this fix I tried reinstalling office, running the many troubleshooting and repair tools, changing the resgistry, and was about to give up.

After killing that process we were able to open Outlook successfully. Somtimes Outlook runs a few seconds, sometimes it's closing immediatly. Outlook was crashing for me for about 30 minutes after applying the July 2020 cumulative update for Win 10 1909 and restarting. I've been hit with 9 calls from customers this afternoon and this has worked on each one.

Version-Numbers are the same, so you can use the same command. Do you have the KB for the fix MS pushed for this, or was it July's "B" release? If you do not want to roll back to a previous version of Microsoft Office, you can launch Microsoft Outlook in Safe Mode to fix the crashes.
